This part was exactly what I needed. It fit perfectly and I was able to install it in minutes. The only issue I had was the 30 day lead time to get the part.
I waited months for this Beko replacement part to come off backorder. When it finally arrived, it was broken in the exact same location as the original part that had failed — strongly suggesting a persistent design or manufacturing defect.
I opened a claim with Encompass (the authorized distributor) and submitted clear photos. I heard nothing back. When I called for an update, the representative informed me there was nothing they could or would do — no refund, no replacement, no store credit, no partial refund, nothing. The agent said a supervisor was unavailable and simply repeated that no assistance was possible.
I want to emphasize that I was polite on my end throughout this process; I understand supply-chain and warranty issues happen. What’s unacceptable is the complete refusal to acknowledge an obviously defective product or offer any remedy whatsoever.
Potential buyers should be aware: if the part arrives broken or fails prematurely (which appears common based on the failure point), Encompass will not stand behind it or apparently even ask Beko too. Save yourself the headache and source your appliance parts elsewhere.
Fulfillment timelines are unacceptable.
